Responsibilities
- Recommend and analyze various foundation options for buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other non-standard structures.
- Adapt designs to meet the needs of both municipal and design-build contractor clients.
- Prepare cohesive reports, develop project-specific specifications, and create geotechnical details.
- Perform field engineering services such as borings inspections, deep foundation inspections, and field consultations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline (master’s degree preferred).
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT).
- Field experience related to site grading and foundation construction, highly desired.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay
The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. The expected annual compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 - $85,000.00.
