Job Details

  • Perform geotechnical field investigations including Test Pits, Test Borings, Slope Reconnaissance, and hand augers.
  • Draft geotechnical engineering reports.
  • Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
  • Perform routine tests and computations associated with geotechnical engineering, and field observations.
  • Perform laboratory testing and analyses in support of construction and geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Attend project meetings, both in-house and with clients.
  • Occasional travel and work in remote areas under adverse conditions.
  • Occasional lifting of approximately 75 pounds.

Qualifications

  • 1-8 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related engineering field; Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related is preferred
  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training (EIT) exam or scheduled
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
