About the role

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our South Dakota office. This role will manage geotechnical engineering projects across public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, developing geotechnical reports, technical letters, and project addendums, while serving as a technical leader and client-facing representative for the office.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical leader and client-facing representative for the office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required.
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering and geotechnical analysis.
  • Knowledge of material testing and subsurface investigations.
  • Strong technical writing and proposal development skills.
  • Intermediate-level professional with the ability to work independently and lead projects.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
