Geostructural Engineer (Geotechnical)
Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare engineering calculations and designs for geostructural systems, including earth retention, underpinning, grouting, deep foundation, drilled shafts, ground improvement, soil stabilization, and other means and methods.
- Analyze subsurface conditions, structural loads, and project constraints to determine optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the proposal, design, and construction phases.
- Provide input on equipment selection, site logistics, and installation methods based on design requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, verify design assumptions, and ensure implementation accuracy.
- Participate in design reviews, progress meetings, and project handoffs to ensure alignment across departments.
- Contribute to safety planning through identification and mitigation of engineering-related site hazards.
- Participate in research, development, and pilot projects to explore and implement innovative solutions.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the design and construction of earth retention systems, deep foundations, drilled shafts, ground improvement scope, soil stabilization scope, and underpinning scope.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test.
- Local and regional travel as required for projects.
- Focus, stand, walk, kneel, climb, bend, and work from heights or within confined space during assigned shift.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds of materials over rough terrain.
- Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a safe driving record.
- Follow all safety procedures, use proper protective equipment, and help maintain a safe job site by identifying and reporting potential hazards.

Compensation and Benefits
Total Compensation between $85,000.00 - $155,000.00/year
