Responsibilities
- Aid senior engineers with design and analysis of SOE systems, slurry walls, and foundations.
- Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, and technical reports under guidance.
- Support the creation of construction drawings and specifications.
- Engage in field investigations and construction observations.
- Apply geotechnical and structural principles to real-world projects.
- Utilize software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudios, and Mathcad for modeling and design tasks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Background in structural engineering with interest in geotechnical engineering, or vice versa.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with analytical or design software is advantageous.
- Experience with programming is considered a plus.
- Willingness to travel for short-term field assignments.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Commitment to obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 2-4 years (preferred).
