Geostructural Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Aid senior engineers with design and analysis of SOE systems, slurry walls, and foundations.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, sketches, and technical reports under guidance.
  • Support the creation of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Engage in field investigations and construction observations.
  • Apply geotechnical and structural principles to real-world projects.
  • Utilize software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudios, and Mathcad for modeling and design tasks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in project meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Background in structural engineering with interest in geotechnical engineering, or vice versa.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with analytical or design software is advantageous.
  • Experience with programming is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term field assignments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Commitment to obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 2-4 years (preferred).
