About the role

Responsible for leading software development projects from conception through deployment. Manage a team of developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, quality assurance, and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software products that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and constraints.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers in best practices and new technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with QA to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in software development.
  • Experience leading software development teams.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of software testing principles and practices.

Salary range: $75,000 - $100,000 annually.
