Job Description

Parsons is looking for a Geophysical Data Processor and Analyst to join our Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) team. This role involves working closely with our Project Geophysicists, QC Geophysicists, and other AGC data processors to support Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) investigations and remediation projects under Parsons DAGCAP program.

Required Skills

  • At least 5 years of munitions response geophysical work experience, including field experience with geophysical equipment and positioning systems
  • Experience with BT Field or EM Class geophysical data processing software
  • Four-year degree in geophysics or related field
  • Good writing and oral communication skills
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required (government project work)

Desired Skills

  • Experience collecting data with AGC sensors (MetalMapper2x2, MPV, APEX or UltraTEM)
  • DAGCAP Certification for Data Processing and Classification
  • Experience processing LiDAR datasets including for SLAM positioning
  • Experience developing and modifying scripts to streamline processing workflows
  • Experience developing data processing tools and algorithms in Python or other languages

What You'll Be Doing

Working side-by-side with our AGC data processing team, producing high-quality data for our clients
Demonstrating capabilities under Parsons DAGCAP program
Processing, analyzing, and classifying advanced EMI instrument survey data using Oasis Montaj UX-Analyze module, BT Field, EM Class software, and Parsons software tools
Processing and analyzing DGM survey data using Oasis Montaj UXO Land module.
Assisting with the development of geophysical technical approaches for MMRP projects
Capturing lessons learned and developing improvements to existing workflows
Mentoring more junior data processors
Assisting with innovative projects

Pay

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $154,700.00
