GEOMAP Data Engineer

About the role

Woolpert is hiring a GEOMAP Data Engineer to join our dynamic Department of the Air Force (DAF) GeoBase team based in San Antonio, Texas. This position reports to the Geospatial Systems Team Leader and is responsible for architecting and implementing solutions for the rapidly growing GeoBase program. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom applications, web services and enterprise solutions using Python
• Develop tools and scripts to automate complex data processing tasks and routine geoprocessing operations for the Air Force geospatial enterprise system
• Design user-friendly interfaces and ensure application performance
