Geologist Sedimentologist Intern

Responsibilities

• Support geologists and geo-modelers with day-to-day project activities
• Aid in data gathering, organization, and quality control of geological and subsurface datasets
• Prepare maps, cross-sections, models, figures, and supporting technical documentation
• Participate in subsurface interpretation, modeling, and review discussions as appropriate
• Contribute to presentations and reports used for internal project updates
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as geophysics, engineering, and reservoir disciplines
• Follow established safety standards, procedures, and company policies
• Complete an assigned internship project and present findings at the conclusion of the program

Qualifications

• Successfully complete 2 years towards a Bachelor's (or higher) in Geology or a related geoscience field (Earth Science, Environmental Science, Geophysics)
• Be a currently enrolled student for the Fall 2027 semester and not have graduated before the start of the internship
• Have a detail-oriented, strong analytical background
• Have experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
• Show an understanding and enthusiasm for the oil and gas industry
• Have strong written and oral communication skills with a variety of technical and non-technical staff
• Be able to work independently and within a team
• Show proven organizational and time management skills
