Geologist - Intern

Job Summary: Geology department is searching for an intern. Main tasks are to provide support to mapping and organizational projects and to learn. Duties/Responsibilities: Analysis of subsurface geology through various sources of dataSubsurface mapping of geologic formations showing structural setting, thickness, porosity, etc.Management and updating of well databases Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology or related Geosciences discipline. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
