About the role

Fantastic member in Merrill, WI is seeking a Home Care Provider to assist with personal care, support, and housekeeping duties. This role offers scheduled hours and on-call availability to help someone in the Merrill community.

Responsibilities

• Assist member with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of the member
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Assist with mobility including heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling when necessary throughout the home
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the member by performing housekeeping duties, laundry, and linen changes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or home care is highly preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges
• Compassionate nature with strong communication skills to build a trusting relationship with the member
• Must be reliable and have dependable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• A background check is required before employment can begin

Schedule

On call for day and evening shifts as needed.

Pay

Starting at $19.82 per hour.
