Job Summary

Performs dishwashing responsibilities, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Maintains dish machines and cleaning areas according to sanitation guidelines. Reports needed repairs and assists with basic food preparation and food deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dish machines and cleaning areas according to sanitation guidelines.
• Reports needed repairs to the Manager.
• Assists with basic food preparation when needed.
• Assists with food deliveries as directed by the supervisor and cleans and maintains coolers.
• Seeks to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor.
• A self-starter.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform high quality work.
• Seeks to develop capabilities in the area of basic food preparation.
• Great people service skills, with the ability to provide service and streamline processes without compromising the integrity of the department and policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Regular, timely attendance.
• Must demonstrate competency in reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task, i.e., handle several tasks at once while maintaining interactions between the restaurant and kitchen.
