Genetics Counselor - Obstetrics and Gynecology
About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Prenatal Genetic Counselor to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with expectant parents, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and obstetricians to assess genetic risks and navigate reproductive planning.
- Interpret complex genetic data, explain testing options, and provide vital emotional support to help families make informed decisions.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Genetics Counseling.
- Licenses/Certifications: Board certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) or American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
- Experience: Genetic counseling experience preferred.
