About the role
This position will provide genetics counseling and appropriate follow-up to adult ECU Health Cancer Care (ECUHMC CC) patients.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or higher
- Eligible within 1 year of employment, or Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABGC / ABMG)
- Less than 1 year experience in Genetic Counseling internship
Qualifications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to take initiative and meet objectives
- Independent judgment
- Ability to manage projects
- Knowledge of software applications
- Other academic institutions or pharmaceutical companies as genetics counselor is preferred
Pay
USD $68,806.40 – $100,294.48 per year
Schedule
- Full time with benefits – 40 hours per week
- Day shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- No weekends or holidays
