Key Responsibilities
- Navigate and manage patient information through EMR systems accurately and efficiently
- Provide professional, compassionate, and client-facing support throughout the testing process
- Obtain insurance prior authorizations and verify patient coverage as needed
- Collect oral swab specimens following proper collection protocols and procedures
- Travel locally between multiple office locations as scheduled
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards
- Communicate effectively with providers, office staff, laboratories, and patients
- Ensure timely handling and transport of collected specimens when necessary
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong computer skills and experience working with EMR systems preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license required for travel between offices
- Comfortable traveling locally on a regular basis
- Able to work flexible hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Experience with insurance prior authorizations is preferred
- Medical office, healthcare coordination, or specimen collection experience is a plus
Work Environment
This position requires both administrative and patient-facing responsibilities in a healthcare office setting. Candidates should be adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in multiple locations throughout the workweek.
