About the role

We are looking for a highly-motivated Generator Technician to join our team in Mishawaka, IN. This role involves servicing, repairing, and installing generators, as well as performing maintenance and troubleshooting for residential and commercial standby generators.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair generators
• Install generators
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., changing air filters, oil, checking battery levels, spark plugs)
• Conduct on-site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting for customer generators (including DC & AC voltage equipment)
• Work independently or with a small team, using a company vehicle to serve residential and commercial clients

Requirements

• Maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and field service skills, specifically with generators
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Experience in generator maintenance and servicing
• Knowledge of electrical systems and components
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently
• Valid driver’s license
