About the role

A pioneering team is seeking a Generative AI Platform Engineer to drive innovation in Artificial Intelligence. You will build the next generation of Generative AI platforms to support new AI projects. This role involves designing, building, and managing reusable tools for Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to meet the organization’s operational excellence and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage reusable tools for Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Ensure software meets all functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop efficient utilities, automation frameworks, and data science platforms for AI/ML and GenAI work.
  • Collaborate in a large team environment on a shared multi-repo codebase using IDEs, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
  • Build and deploy a Gen AI inferencing platform with open-source toolsets and servicing capabilities.
  • Maintain a culture of quality, innovation, and experimentation.
  • Research new tools and capabilities for advanced analytics platforms, prototype features, and participate in user forums.
  • Adhere to processes and handle project tasks efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience in Python with expert-level development skills.
  • Experience with the AI/ML/GenAI lifecycle, MLOps, fine-tuning techniques, and inference frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with the generative AI RAG process, including chunking, embedding, retrieval, reranking, and summarization.
  • Expertise in application development with one or more of the following: MongoDB, Redis, Angular/React Frameworks, Containerization, and building API-based applications using FAST API services.
  • Strong hands-on DevOps experience with tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, pytest, Artifactory, and Ansible.
  • Excellent automation and scripting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
