Generalist / Mass Spec Technician

Places tanks on and off manifolds to perform leak checksConducts warm vacuum checksPerforms quality checks on tanks during pump downPerforms tank seal offCompletes required documentation, electronic or paper, on all work performedMay be assigned to help with any of the following tasks and responsibilities when not performing mass spec duties: working in the wrapping/nesting area, washing tanks, moving materials, grinding, drilling holes, assisting welders and other operations roles\Assist with the assembly of vessels through established manufacturing processesMaintain cleanliness of assigned work areaMonitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needsPerforms other work as assignedComplete and follow all safety procedures and policiesComplete company provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilitiesOvertime, when required, which may include weekendsCompletes required documentation, electronic or paper, on all work performedUnderstands and adheres to established safety and quality proceduresMaintains a clean work area and practices general housekeeping standardsPerforms all tasks to ISO standards and requirementsPerforms other duties as assigned. Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role includes close vision. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Loud noise level in the work environment Required Your Experience Should Be... 1+ year manufacturing experienceBasic math skills (weight measurement, volume, distance, multiplication and division)Attention to detail essentialStrong time management skillsProven ability to identify, reason and problem solve minor non-conformities and deviationsOvertime and weekend hours, as needed Preferred High school diploma or GED Experience using blueprints and design sketches Familiarity with ISO proceduresKnowledge or experience working with Chart productsKnowledge or experience working with Chart products Our Benefits Package...
