About the Role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics at Stanford University School of Medicine seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time position in the Clinician Educator Academic Line. This role will primarily support Stanford Perinatal Services in Salinas and the Mid-Coastal Region.

Position Details

This position is at open rank (Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor) depending on experience, in the Clinician Educator Line (CE) at Stanford University. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • MD, DO or equivalent
  • Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Subspecialty Board certification/eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
  • Demonstrated expertise in obstetrical ultrasound
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical high-risk obstetrical care
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is:

  • Clinical Assistant Professor: $392,000 – $416,000
  • Clinical Associate Professor: $461,000 – $485,000
  • Clinical Professor: $518,000 – $539,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine's faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
