Clinician Educator- Faculty

About the role

The clinician-educator position supports the community-based primary care residency at Hillsboro Medical Center, an Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Partner. This is a full-time academic position in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Department of Internal Medicine at OHSU School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Primary care clinician in the Faculty Practice with OHSU at Hillsboro Internal Medicine Primary Care Clinic (including continuity care and interim or same day care)
• Participate in clinical based teaching of OHSU students and future Hillsboro Medical Center based Internal Medicine residents, such as resident continuity clinic precepting
• Potential for inpatient general medicine clinical work
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with other clinicians in the practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence
