Primary Duties
- Set up, use, and safely take down ladders and other temporary structures
- Perform manual labor such as pulling up carpet, removing and installing various floor coverings (tile, laminate, resilient flooring), and handling materials
- Execute basic carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, trim installation, and shelving
- Conduct simple plumbing repairs such as faucet replacement, drain clearing, and fixture recapping
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance, periodic inspections, and accurate documentation of work
- Support renovation projects, demolition, material handling, and site cleanup while adhering to safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade
- Able to climb ladders up to 20 ft regularly
- Able to lift &Client; 50 lb
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Frequent standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
- Repetitive lifting or manipulation of &Client; 50 lb loads
- Exposure to dust, noise, and vibration
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws, rotary hammers, sanders)
