General Worker

About the role

The position involves supporting construction operations in various aspects such as raking, shoveling, cleaning, measuring, traffic control, operating small equipment like saws and blowers, and learning to operate more advanced equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support construction operations
• Perform basic tasks requiring physical labor and mental preparedness
• Operate small equipment such as saws, blowers, etc.
• Learn to operate more advanced equipment

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• CDL preferred but not required
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Punctual and dependable
• Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends
• Tolerant of and able to work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments
• Member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member
• Previous construction experience preferred
• Previous experience in landscaping, farming, or raking/shoveling preferred
