About the role
Provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based and office-clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform general surgical procedures, including chest wall/pleural surgeries, chest tube insertions, and vascular abdominal surgeries.
- Handle a variety of general surgical cases.
- Coordinate with medical staff.
- Ensure adherence to credentialing requirements (90‑120 days).
- Maintain high standards of patient care and procedural competence.
Qualifications
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
- Basic Life Support certification
- Licensure in Vermont
Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR (preferred)
