About the role
Facility located in Las Cruces, New Mexico – known as the "City of Crosses" – seeks a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support. The position starts ASAP with regular shifts scheduled 7a‑7a. The setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care, with a case mix focused on general surgery. Expect to see 7‑10 patients per shift, and credentialing is required within 60 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide general surgery services to inpatient and outpatient patients.
- Manage a patient load of approximately 7‑10 individuals per shift.
- Handle a variety of general surgery cases as needed by the facility.
