About the role
Provide general surgical care in a hospital-based and office-clinic setting, handling cases such as chest wall/pleural procedures, chest tube insertion, vascular surgery, and abdominal surgeries. Credentialing process takes 90-120 days.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures.
- Manage patient care.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation.
- Ensure compliance with certification and licensure requirements.
Qualifications
- Board certified or eligible in General Surgery.
- Licensed in Vermont.
- Certified in Basic Life Support.
- Strong surgical skills and experience with general, vascular, and chest procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a hospital and clinic environment.
