General Surgery - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Position Details
Join Hartford Hospital’s General Surgery team, where you can practice at your full scope and participate in top-of-the-line surgeries that aren’t being done anywhere else in the area! The Advanced Practitioners (APPs) are the main clinical driver of care and work consistently in the OR each week, first-assisting in a variety of robotic surgeries. Subspecialties include emergency general surgery, bariatric, colorectal, minimally invasive, and hepatobiliary surgeries. With the upcoming robotic training program, APPs in general surgery will perform cutting edge robotic surgeries!

Full-time, 3x13 hour shifts. Mainly Monday-Friday 6am-7:30pm. Premium differentials offered.

Qualifications
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Experience: New graduates welcome to apply
- Preferred: 2+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a surgical setting
