Responsibilities
- Provide call coverage
- Manage bread and butter general surgery cases (colon surgery not required)
- Handle bariatric post‑op cases in the ED
- Evaluate, stabilize, and transfer complex presentations
- Complete online documentation of assignment details
Requirements
- Hospital privileges
- Board certification or eligibility
Skills
- Comfort with post‑op bariatric cases
- Ability to manage emergency presentations
- Strong clinical judgment
