As a General Surgeon at Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua, Wisconsin, you will join a collaborative and innovative surgery team with endless opportunities to influence the future of rural healthcare while building meaningful relationships with patients, families, and the community.
Our team-based clinic environment focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care in support of an award-winning critical access hospital and trauma program.

- Four state-of-the-art surgical suites supporting GI, orthopedic, and general surgery practices
- 25-bed critical access hospital
- Calming and therapeutic environment with a friendly and responsive care team
- Fully renovated 11-bed emergency room and urgent care with private patient rooms
- Innovative technology with Epic (v.2018) EMR
- Active outpatient practice, including procedures in rural health clinics
- Shared general surgery call at a 1:3 ratio
