General Surgeon

Part-time opportunity in Brooklyn, NY with a national wound-physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance—no nights, no call, no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound-care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in skilled-nursing facilities and long-term acute-care hospitals across a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily.
• Document clinical care in real time at the point of service using the group’s proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted MD/DO license in the state where you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract; no work-visa sponsorship is available.

Practice Overview

• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; part-time schedules also available.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Paid onboarding training plus a 6-month wound-care fellowship.
• Mobile practice: physicians visit multiple facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.

Pay

Full-time W2 physicians earn on average $300,000 per year.

Schedule

• Part-time: minimum 3 days per week.
• Full-time: 4–5 days per week, typically 45 hours total.
