General Surgeon

About the Role

Full-time General Surgeon position focused on wound management with a national wound physician group. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend responsibilities.

Physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states, utilizing cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. Training and a wound fellowship are provided to ensure clinical excellence.

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits. The role typically involves a 45-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Perform clinical documentation at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• No work visa sponsorship is available.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm), 4–5 days per week.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week.
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
