General Surgeon

About the Role

Copley Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-eligible General Surgeon to join a hospital-employed outpatient practice in north-central Vermont near picturesque Stowe. This role is part of a multi-specialty group practice covering a variety of operative interventions, specializing in minimally invasive surgery, colorectal surgery, thyroid surgery, breast surgery, other general surgical problems, and endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive surgery, colorectal surgery, thyroid surgery, breast surgery, and other general surgical procedures
• Conduct endoscopy procedures
• Provide outpatient and inpatient surgical care as part of a collaborative team

Schedule

This is a full-time position, with part-time and per diem opportunities also available. A variety of shifts are offered to align with candidate availability.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $144–$153 per hour. The posted range reflects compensation for candidates with limited experience. Offers may vary based on experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data, and could fall outside the posted range.
