General Superintendent - Water / Wastewater

We’re seeking an experienced General Superintendent who wants to make an impact — leading complex projects and mentoring field teams — while still having the balance to enjoy life outside the job site. A well-established self-performing water/wastewater contractor is expanding in Utah. Backed by decades of expertise and a strong financial foundation, this team is building a regional operation that values excellence without burnout.

Responsibilities

• Direct all field operations on major water/wastewater treatment and pump station projects
• Oversee and mentor field leadership, including Superintendents and Foremen
• Partner with Project Managers and Estimators to improve constructability and efficiency
• Drive safety, quality, and schedule performance at every phase
• Communicate with clients, inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing water infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of excavation/backfill, concrete, and piping/mechanical
• Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach running multiple superintendents, projects, and field personnel
• Experience leading $50M+ W/WW projects
• Commitment to safety, quality, and team success
