About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative General Superintendent to support our data center project in Spartanburg, SC. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, ensuring the right materials, equipment, and people are in place to get the job done. You’ll also prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of your team and our planet.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and personnel
- Facilitate safety, health, and well-being of the team and environment
- Collaborate in planning, design, construction, and commissioning
- Create estimates, client presentations, timelines, staffing plans, project execution plans, and construction documentation
- Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns, meetings, and reviews with owners and designers
- Conduct constructability reviews
- Lead client and construction meetings
- Manage safety leadership (JHA revisions, SPA daily signed-off permits)
- Oversee QA construction turnover process, including TOP’s, punch lists, and walkdowns with contractors and owners
Requirements
- High School diploma
- At least 15 years of construction site experience
- At least 15 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, construction inspector, and/or construction manager
- Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
- Multidiscipline knowledge (Mechanical, Electrical, IC, CSA)
Qualifications
- Data Center experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $152,700.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Hybrid working policy allowing employees to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations.
