General Superintendent - Data Center Construction

Summary

Mortenson is seeking a General Superintendent I to lead construction activities and supervise teams on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

- Oversee construction activities and task assignments - Collaborate with other departments to ensure project requirements are met - Budget, forecast, and manage resources such as labor, equipment, materials, and tools - Create, review, and update project schedules and site utilization plans - Lead pre-construction planning sessions and project site meetings - Provide leadership and training to work crews and field personnel - Implement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program - Manage open shop and union issues - Develop relationships with site visitors - Lead efficient site work and logistics

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent experience - Minimum 14 years construction management or related experience - Detail-oriented for accurate and timely reports - Knowledge of construction practices and Mortenson systems - Microsoft Office skills - Ability to travel up to 100% - Current driver’s license

Pay Range

Base pay range: $178,800 MIN - $268,200 MAX. Actual range varies based on location and internal equity considerations.
