General Superintendent- Data Center

About the role

L.F. Driscoll, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to support our data center construction project in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule and maintains accurate reports describing project status.
• Oversees timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces.
• Reviews project status and progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis.
• Manages multiple Superintendents on large projects.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others operating tools and equipment.
• Analyzes manpower, material, and equipment requirements, coordinating needs with designated personnel.
• Implements and enforces company policies, procedures, and work rules established by field construction management.
• Ensures operational areas, tools, and equipment are maintained in safe condition and operated safely.

Requirements

• 15+ years of field experience in construction.
• Mission Critical (Data Center) experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Pay

Base pay plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
