About The Role
We are looking for an experienced General Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects throughout the West Palm Beach area. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong background managing complex projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience across high-end custom homes and commercial construction, with exposure to projects such as private schools, healthcare facilities, churches, and other high-quality institutional or commercial builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Coordinate daily site operations, inspections, deliveries, and manpower.
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents to identify potential issues.
- Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and site organization.
- Track project progress and proactively address scheduling or field issues.
- Conduct regular site meetings and coordinate subcontractor activities.
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and established quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and punch lists.
- Help drive projects to successful completion while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of construction experience, with significant Superintendent or General Superintendent experience.
- Proven experience managing high-end custom residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred: Private schools, Healthcare facilities, Churches / religious facilities, High-end custom homes, Commercial buildings, Institutional construction.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, and field coordination.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify problems early and develop practical solutions.
- Procore experience is a plus.
- OSHA certification is preferred.
Compensation
Up to $155,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
