About the role
The Superintendent role is critical in ensuring the successful completion of projects by overseeing and coordinating the efforts of subcontractors. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Meets regularly with the Project Manager and subcontractors to coordinate processes and resolve issues.
- Works with the Project Manager to establish new hiring processes and procedures for field personnel.
- Schedules and coordinates materials to be shipped to the job site.
- Oversees and ensures that all projects in the specific area are completed according to forecasts.
- Manages the Safety Program and ensures compliance with safety standards.
- Assigns field staffing to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinates with the Tools/Equipment Manager regarding tools and inventory.
- Manages the Production and Field Staffing Team for a specific area.
- Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training of the Field Staff and support staff.
- Develops training programs for the Field Staffing to ensure company excellence.
- Conducts area production and field staffing meetings as needed.
Requirements

- Expertise in commercial electrical field management, design, and contracting.

- Familiarity with team-building techniques.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changing requirements.
- Work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in similar facility, construction technology, methods, and equipment, tools, and work procedures.
