General Superintendent

About the Role

Kinsley Steel is currently seeking a talented and experienced General Superintendent to join our growing team. Oversee and manage on-site construction projects and field foremen, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Promote a culture of safety, coordinate schedules, and address any issues that arise on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Promote a culture of safety among the team and ensure all safety precautions are followed on-site
• Coordinate weekly look-a-head schedules to anticipate potential issues or delays
• Attend on-site project meetings focused on safety, quality, scheduling, and production
• Coordinate with other trades and schedule material deliveries to the job site
• Address non-conformances and issue corrective actions as needed
• Troubleshoot on-site issues, submit Requests for Information (RFIs), and complete as-built drawings

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of commercial construction and steel erection
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively convey information, delegate tasks, and address concerns
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment
• Experience and knowledge in operating equipment such as transit, laser level, and torpedo levels
• Valid driver's license required
