About the Role
You’ll lead a Domino’s Pizza store as the manager on duty, overseeing all operations during your shift. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role in a fun, flexible environment where you’ll gain long-term career skills while helping us deliver the best pizza in the world. Responsibilities
- Oversee all shift operations: cost controls, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations.
- Set the example for your crew by following all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
- Lead your team to sell more pizzas and create a fun, high-energy work environment.
- Handle staffing, scheduling, paperwork, food management, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
- Direct team activities, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Greet customers enthusiastically, take orders, and resolve concerns with a positive attitude.
- Operate, clean, and maintain store equipment and facilities.
- Prepare food to Domino’s specifications and manage ingredient inventory.
- Receive and process telephone orders quickly to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver pizzas using navigational skills to locate addresses, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
- Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and make accurate monetary change.
- Use a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle for order management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check (meeting company standards).
- Comfortable using technology, including the Domino’s Delivery Experience app (Drivosity) for driver performance and safety monitoring.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for the majority of your shift, with tasks performed from a standing position.
- Walk on ceramic tile and linoleum surfaces in food preparation areas.
- Work at surfaces ranging from 36” to 4” in height.
- Unload bulk product deliveries (2–3 times per week), lifting and stacking items up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally crouch, squat, stoop, bend, or use stairs.
- Use hand-eye coordination for tasks like shaping dough, maneuvering pizza peels, and folding boxes.
