About the Role

This role involves maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in an older apartment complex, addressing chronic blockages, and performing preventive maintenance to keep pipes running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience with power drain cleaners and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Use power drain cleaners like the Speedrooter 92® to clear blockages in plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to avoid recurring clogs in pipes.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment for drain cleaning and pipe repair.
• Handle a variety of pipe types, including 2” cast to 8” tile lines.
• Work in tight spaces and older structures with narrow confines.
• Manage equipment transport and setup independently.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with power drain cleaners and plumbing maintenance tools.
• Knowledge of Flexicore® cable and various cutter attachments (e.g., Spear Head, Five Blade Cutter).
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively in confined spaces.
• Familiarity with different pipe materials and sizes (e.g., 2” to 8” lines).
• Problem-solving skills to address chronic plumbing issues creatively.
• One-person operation capability for equipment like the Speedrooter 92.
• Background in maintenance, plumbing, or a related field (e.g., military service, trade experience).
