The Job

Interfaces with production supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and ensure that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition.

Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks.

Makes repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system.

Completes all paperwork assigned and coordinates with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills

At least one year of successful mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility.

On-the-job success in safety, attendance and quality of work expected.

Maintenance experience in corrugated a plus.

Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics.

Excellent teamwork, cooperation and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to fully cross train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.

Willing and able to work second and third shifts, call-ins, holidays, and overtime as there is a constant demand for overtime in our maintenance department.

Able to work with computer systems for maintenance processes, stores and work orders.

Provide own tools.
