Responsibilities

  • Test drives vehicles to diagnose issues and recommend repairs
  • Inspect and diagnose engine and mechanical/electrical components
  • Recommend and perform thorough repairs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform basic care and maintenance tasks such as tune-ups and flushes
  • Handle oil changes, tire services, and state inspections
  • Replace necessary parts with high-quality components
  • Confirm repairs through a test drive on a predetermined route

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some or limited training in automotive repair
  • Valid driver's license with NC Safety Inspection and enhanced Emissions licenses preferred
  • Entry-level knowledge of computer equipment and software applications
  • Ability to manage priorities, adapt to diverse customer needs, and work with minimal supervision
