Schedule
- Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)
- 3 days/nights on, 3 days/nights off
- Initial cross-training period may include schedule changes until permanent department assignment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good work history
- Ability to work safely in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Problem-solving and effective communication skills
- Willingness to perform a variety of physical job functions
Preferred considerations: experience with physically demanding work, military service, post-secondary education, or recent stable job tenure.
Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and powered industrial trucks (fork trucks, roll clamps, dump trucks, loaders)
- Perform manual tasks: shoveling, sweeping, pushing, pulling, overhead work, lifting, handling high-pressure hoses, repetitive motion, prolonged sitting/standing/walking/climbing/bending/kneeling/crouching/crawling/squatting
- Work around industrial equipment in environments with high/low temperatures, noise, odors, dust, and chemicals
- Conduct product sampling and testing of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
- Enter confined spaces as required
