General Production Operator

The production operator is capable of contributing to all phases of the production process. Included is the operation of automated production equipment, primary diagnosis of machinery failures, aiding with preventative maintenance, and sanitation of equipment.

Responsibilities

Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

• Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
• Operates various equipment, including but not limited to: scaler/divider operator, wrapping operator, palletizer, roll line operator, board monitor, and retard box monitor.
• Performs start-up/shut down sanitation and operator's preventative maintenance.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Specific responsibilities vary depending on job assignment, but may include:

• Scales ingredients, loads, operates and unloads mixer(s), operates dough pump, and checks posted scaling weights and equipment standards.
• Adjusts and operates one pocket and six pocket dividers, rounder, and overhead proofer.
• Sets and operates slicer, bagger, and tier equipment, and performs quality control inspection of finished product.
• Checks pallets, slip sheets, etc. for quantity, and performs other duties as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. Two years related bakery or production experience preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $19.10. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package.
