General Production 1st shift - Omaha, NE

About the role

Join Tyson Foods to create quality products in a safe environment while contributing to meaningful food production. This position may work in any department of the facility, including Raw Process, Cooked Bacon, and Pizza Toppings.

The starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with an additional $0.75 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift and $1.75 per hour for 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF requirements.
• Perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
• Use knives where required by the position.
• Complete any other work assigned by a supervisor.
• Work overtime and/or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 40 lbs or more, depending on the area.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach for 8–10 hours on hard floors.
• Perform repetitive motions and use hands and arms above shoulder level.
• Work in a cold, damp environment with slippery walking surfaces.

Schedule

This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime. Shift differentials apply for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
