General Postdoctoral Researcher (Masters/PhDs)

About the role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for researchers with advanced degrees in STEM or highly technical fields. The position involves designing, developing, and solving complex, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance across various scientific and technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex problem statements that challenge and improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Review and evaluate AI-generated solutions for academic rigor, accuracy, and depth
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance model performance
• Ensure clarity, precision, and intellectual integrity across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments, fully on your own schedule

Requirements

• Holds a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university
• Strong track record of research, publications, or complex technical project management
• Naturally rigorous — holds yourself to high standards of accuracy and depth
• Exceptional written communicator who can convey complex ideas with clarity
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated when working independently
• Fluent in English

Qualifications

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation systems is a plus
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages is preferred
• Experience designing or grading advanced academic problems or assessments is a plus
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning workflows is beneficial
