General Pediatrics- Full-Time- Experienced NP/PA

About the role

Nurse Practitioners (NP) are needed to provide primary care services to patients in the Pediatrics department at Advocate Health.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children
• Provide preventive care and health education to pediatric patients and families
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Missouri
• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
• ACGME-accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current NP license in Missouri
• Experience in pediatric care

• Proficient in electronic medical records systems

Pay

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training. Premium pay such as shift, on-call, and more based on a teammate's job. Opportunity for annual increases based on performance.
