Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, patching, and priming as needed
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and coverings
- Mix and match paint colors to meet project requirements
- Repair minor surface imperfections such as cracks, holes, or damaged drywall
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
- Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment
- Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality and appearance standards
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a painter on commercial or building projects
- Experience With Both Interior And Exterior Painting
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of paints, coatings, and application techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical ability to work on lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
