About the role

Penn State Health Medical Group in Reading, PA is seeking a full‑time BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to help grow the Orthopedic practice. The position offers an opportunity to join a collegial, patient‑focused team that includes two Orthopedic Surgeons, three Primary Care‑Sports Medicine physicians, two Advanced Practice Practitioners, and a skilled ancillary staff. Responsibilities

• Assist in growing the Orthopedic practice in Reading.
• Provide general orthopedic care, including hospital on‑call and elective procedures.
• Collaborate with two Orthopedic Surgeons, three Primary Care‑Sports Medicine physicians, two Advanced Practice Practitioners, and ancillary staff.

Requirements

• Medical degree – M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
• Board eligible/Board certified (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program.
• Collegial and driven individual passionate about delivering exceptional care in a community hospital setting.
• If subspecialty‑trained, willingness to provide general orthopedic care (hospital on call and elective).
