About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, seeks an Assistant Professor on the non‑tenure academic clinician track. The successful candidate will join the Penn Medicine Division of Academic Specialists—a faculty practice at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania that includes full‑time obstetricians and gynecologists, advanced practice providers, and midwives.
Responsibilities
- Teach clinical training and supervise medical students and residents; participate in the formal teaching curriculum.
- Provide outpatient prenatal and gynecology care.
- Provide labor and delivery coverage.
- Perform gynecologic surgery.
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to resident and medical student education.
